  I made a couple of good mates in the short time I was there that I still see on a weekly basis.. and even though iv'e moved on to bigger and better things.. I still miss the place a little..

  Tried to ring twice to book a powered site and phone rang out. On the third time I rang someone booked us in and said it was fine for us to arrive at 6pm. We got there just before 6pm and the office was not attended. Tried the intercom several times and noone answered. Tried ringing...noone answered. We waited for about 20 minutes and ended up leaving and trying to find somewhere else (which is difficult at that time of night and with a cranky, hungry toddler). Just can't believe it! I don't know why we weren't served but we've never come across this problem ever before!

  The staff are very helpful and have bent over backwards to accommodate us in every way. Very affordable and I would highly recommend a visit.

  what a beaut stay! the cabins were so well appointed, with lots of little extras, like mints on your pillows! great value for money, friendly staff who couldn't do enough, even allowing us a late check out free of charge, and when my husband made a joke about some wine too- they delivered!! value for money is an understatement. clean, comfortable, and highly recommend!

  My elderly father stayed in the Disability Cabin at Mapleton and found it absolutely perfect for his needs. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly maintained, and the staff were brilliant and friendly.

  As an ex permanent I have the inside scoop on the place lol.. BUT.. I must admit I was very surprised to see so many bad reviews from tourists on here..
